Cordia is partnered with a strategic planning, manufacturing, and engineering company who is seeking an experienced Expense Manager to join their team on a contract-to-hire basis.

Job Title: Expense Manager 
Location: Remote
Hourly Rate: $40/hour
Job Type: Contract-to-Hire

As an Expense Manager, you will be responsible for managing and analyzing our client's expenses and ensuring that they are in line with their budget and financial goals. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting and finance, excellent analytical skills, and experience in managing expenses for a mid to large-sized company.

Responsibilities:

• Analyze and review expense reports and receipts to ensure accuracy and compliance with company policies.
• Monitor and track expenses against budgets and financial goals.
• Develop and implement expense management policies and procedures.
• Work with other departments to ensure expenses are recorded properly and on time.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities and make recommendations to improve overall financial performance.
• Prepare regular reports on expense management activities for senior management.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in expense management.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
• At least 3 years of experience in expense management or a similar role.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other accounting software.

This is a remote position with flexible hours. The hourly rate for this position is $40/hour.
