Staff Accountant 16181245
Silver Spring, MDCordia is partnering with a not-for-profit organization currently seeking a Staff Accountant to join our team for a 2-3 month project. This is a temporary position with remote work available. The pay rate for this role is $30-$32 per hour.
As a Staff Accountant, you will work closely with the accounting team to ensure the timely and accurate entry of accounts payable, perform light reconciliations, and make general journal entries in NetSuite, a newly implemented accounting software. Therefore, experience with NetSuite is highly desired.

Responsibilities:
- Assist with accounts payable data entry and processing
- Perform light reconciliations and make general journal entries
- Assist with the month-end close process
- Collaborate with consultants and other members of the team as necessary
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field
- At least 2 years of relevant experience in accounting
- Experience with NetSuite is highly desired
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
