We have an exciting opportunity for a skilled Interim Controller to join our dynamic team on a contract basis. This position is based in Arlington, VA, and offers a hybrid work arrangement. The hourly rate for this role ranges from $75 to $100 per hour.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare acquisition spin-off workpapers and finalize intangible push-down and push-up entries
• Finalize 2021 audit with PwC and draft annual financial statements and footnotes
• Review monthly close process and recommend improvements to close books in 10 days (previously 25 days)
• Lead Netsuite implementation and manage the team
• Implement best practices for monthly close and internal controls
• Build and manage accounting teams
• Scale company revenues through effective financial strategies
• Develop financial models, forecasts, budgets, and projections
• Oversee financial statement preparation, analysis, and reporting
• Streamline processes, reduce monthly close time, and improve efficiency
• Work under tight deadlines and prioritize/manage multiple tasks

Requirements:

• CPA certification is required
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
• Extensive experience in revenue recognition, M&A, financial modeling, SEC reporting, and system implementation (Netsuite, Intacct, GP Dynamics, Salesforce, Zuora)
• Strong analytical skills and business instincts
• Ability to work under tight deadlines and prioritize/manage multiple tasks
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
