Cordia Resources is seeking an Accountant for our property management client. As an Accountant you will play a crucial role in maintaining our financial records and ensuring the financial health of our properties. This position requires a strong foundation in accounting principles and practices, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Maintain accurate financial records for our properties.
Prepare and analyze financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
Assist with budgeting and forecasting for properties.
Reconcile bank statements and accounts.
Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions.
Ensure compliance with tax regulations and assist with tax preparation.
Collaborate with property managers and other team members to resolve financial issues.
Provide financial analysis and reporting as needed.
Assist with audits and financial reviews.
Other accounting-related tasks as required.
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting required.
CPA certification or progress toward certification is a plus.
Prior experience in property accounting is a strong advantage.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
Knowledge of property management software (e.g., Yardi, AppFolio) is a plus but not required.
