Title: AR/Revenue Accountant
Location: Silver Spring, MD 
Hourly Rate: $30.00 - $35.00/hour

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Monthly Invoicing: Responsible for all aspects of monthly invoicing and billing processes related to Grants and Contracts. Review revenue postings in accounting system for accuracy. Set monthly meetings with Director of Finance – and weekly with Financial manager to review aging repots or any issues with accounts receivable. Coordinate with other departments in the collection and review of billing data.
• Month-end Close: Review revenue for missing data in advance of AR closing. Prepare accruals; reconcile assigned revenue GL accounts, and other relevant journal entries necessary in support of month-end close.
• Cash Services: Responsible for all cash payment reconciliations and process, including posting cash receipts daily and weekly. Handle all aspects of monthly member services cash reconciliations with operations managers in all of our site offices.
• Reconciliations: Perform account reconciliations for all AR related accounts, including but not limited to, accounts receivable, membership and all member cash service, payment adjustments
