Cordia is partnered with a top outsourced accounting firm who is seeking a Staff Accountant to join the NonProfit/Commercial division of their team. Details below.

Title: Staff Accountant
Location: Hybrid - Tysons, VA
Salary: $55,000 - $65,000
Job Type: Permanent

Responsibilities

• Assisting with monthly close processes
• Account reconciliations and follow through to resolve reconciled items
• Documentation of accounting processes and control reviews
• Preparation of monthly revenue recognition schedules
• Analysis of AR, sending monthly statements
• Supporting AP and Payroll
• Analysis of accounting data and financial report preparation

Requirements

• Strong knowledge and understanding of basic GAAP accounting principles
• B.S. in Accounting
• 1-3 years hands-on accounting experience
• A solid understanding of MS office - intermediate Excel
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
