- Lead day-to-day financial operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger functions.
- Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting to support decision-making processes.
- Collaborate with department heads to develop and manage budgets, providing insights and recommendations to optimize financial performance.
- Conduct regular forecasting to identify potential financial risks and opportunities.
- Ensure adherence to accounting principles and regulatory requirements.
- Implement and maintain robust internal controls to safeguard company assets.
- Conduct in-depth financial analysis to support strategic initiatives and business planning.
- Provide key performance indicators (KPIs) and financial metrics for management review.
- Prepare and coordinate audit activities, liaising with external auditors to ensure a smooth audit process.
- Address audit findings and implement corrective actions as needed.
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy within the finance function.
- Streamline financial processes to support scalability.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather relevant financial data and insights.
- Work closely with the executive team to align financial strategies with overall business goals.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or CMA preferred.
- Proven experience as a Controller or in a similar finance leadership role.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting standards.
- Experience working remotely and managing virtual teams.
