We are seeking a qualified Project Accountant.  The Project Accountant will play a crucial role in supporting general ledger maintenance, variance analysis, and job costing activities within construction projects. A bachelor's degree is required for this position.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts related to construction projects.
• Perform variance analysis to identify discrepancies and ensure accuracy in project financials.
• Assist in job costing activities including tracking expenses, labor, and materials.
• Prepare and review project budgets and forecasts, providing insights and recommendations.
• Collaborate with project managers to provide financial support and analysis.
• Generate financial reports and presentations for project stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field is required.
• 2 years of experience in accounting roles, preferably in the construction industry.
• Strong understanding of general ledger maintenance, variance analysis, and job costing principles.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial data management.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
