Cordia Resources is working with a mid size manufacturing company in Birmingham, AL that is searching for a Staff Senior Accountant on a contract basis

Candidate should have experience in:

• Month/Quarter/Year end close
• General Ledger
• Journal entries
• Bank reconciliations
• Credit card reconciliations
• Pre-Audit work
• Other duties as assigned

Candidate should have:

• 2+ years of GL experience
• BS degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• Financial services experience is preferred but not required
• Experience with Sage 100 is preferred by not required
• Experience with a large ERP system 
• “Can do” attitude
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
