Cordia Resources by Cherry Bekaert has partnered with an Enterprise-sized organization in the Tallahassee, FL area to help support an ERP transformation!

As part of that project, they are searching for various skills to assist with the project for approximately 1 year in length.  Candidates should be local to Tallahassee and be comfortable working on a hybrid schedule, 3 days per week in the office.

Title: Business Analyst
Location: Hybrid - Tallahassee, FL
Hourly Rate: $50.00 - $55.00/hour
Job Type: Contract (1 year)

Our client is currently searching for Business Analyst to support the following tasks:

• Research and understand the company’s business processes and how finance and IT are intertwined
• Research and document impacts on business systems in relation to the accounting system implementation.
• Facilitate joint analysis workshops with the business units.
• Gather and document business and technical requirements.
• Coordinate with data migration and development teams.
• Create detailed use cases, business rules, and requirements.
• Develop Test Plans and Test Cases.
• Coordinate testing and quality assurance efforts.
• Perform oversight reviews of deliverables for compliance with department standards.

The submitted candidate must be able to apply specific knowledge, skills, and abilities in the following areas:

• Business Analysis: Ability to perform detailed research, business analysis, as-is and to-be analysis, process modeling. Use of software tools is required and include, but are not limited to, MS Word, MS PowerPoint, MS Excel, and Visio. Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP) or Certified Scrum Master (CSM) is highly desired.
• System Analysis & Design: Ability to perform System Analysis & Design using a variety of modeling methodologies and techniques.
• Facilitation: Ability to expertly facilitate workshops and meetings with stakeholders.
• Technical Understanding: Technical knowledge and understanding of IT infrastructure and software development practices and techniques.
• Project Management: Knowledge of Project Management. Ability to apply principles and techniques in the Project Management Body of Knowledge

Job experience:

• 3+ years of business/systems analysis experience and software development projects is required.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, Word, PowerPoint, required. 
• Experience working with Microsoft DevOps is highly desired.
• Experience with data migration.
• Knowledge of change and release management is highly desired.
• Knowledge of testing and quality assurance tools and techniques.
