Why This Role is Unique: As a Senior Accountant, you will directly contribute to our mission by overseeing critical financial processes that influence both our growth and sustainability goals. This position is instrumental in maintaining our financial health during a period of significant expansion and offers the chance to work closely with senior management.
 

Key Responsibilities:

• Reconcile assigned Balance Sheet accounts and record applicable journal entries
• Prepare period end fluctuation analysis/Budget vs. Actual to support the timely closing of the period.
• Review non-merchandise invoices for proper coding and approvals, and utilities for proper usage and payment
• Reconcile corporate bank accounts and coordinate with team members to ensure all activity is recorded
• Review daily cash discrepancies and recommend solutions for recovery/mitigation

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting preferred.
• 3-5+ years of related experience; more than 3 years and retail/merchandise experience highly valued.
• Proficiency in A/P automation, with advanced skills in Microsoft Excel
