Title: Client Advisor
Salary: 150K – 180K plus bonus
Environment: Hybrid - Tyson’s Corner, VA

Overview:

Our client is seeking a talented and motivated individual to join the team as a full-time Client Advisor. A Client Advisor is charged with forging strong partnerships with clients that are built on trust. They continuously identify, assess, and manage risks created by the client to mitigate risk posed to the firm and promote their client’s financial success. A Client Advisor leads a matrixed team of Credit and Treasury experts in providing holistic tactical and strategic support to client operations. A Client Advisor is responsible for the daily execution and proactive management of their client portfolio. They will focus on carrying out active portfolio management related duties, including but not limited to:

  • Lead a matrixed team of Credit and Treasury team members in the management of a 30 – 50 client portfolio.
  • Maintain strong relationships with client’s leadership, providing regular updates on financial performance and recommendations for improvement.
  • Collaborate with clients to understand their long-term goals and develop financial projections to support their growth and success.
  • Develop and implement financial strategies to improve clients' financial performance, including cost-saving measures, cash flow optimization and revenue growth initiatives.
  • Use metrics and data visualization effectively to report portfolio performance and support decision-making at the team or organizational level.
  • Provide guidance on financial planning and budgeting, including forecasting, financial modeling, and scenario analysis.
  • Conduct comprehensive financial analysis to understand clients' business operations, goals, and challenges.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting
  • 8+ years of related experience in leveraged finance, private equity, or investment banking
  • Proven track record of managing and leading teams
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to understand complex financial data and develop creative solutions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients from diverse backgrounds.
  • Strong understanding of financial planning and analysis, including budgeting, forecasting and financial modeling.
  • Proficiency with financial software and tools, including Excel and other relevant applications.
  • Solution minded with the ability to problem solve independently.
  • Extremely detail oriented.
  • Ability to successfully manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Ability to manage time and schedule independently to meet deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience or familiarity with Federal government contracting.
  • Advanced Academic Degree.
  • CPA or CFA Certification.
