Title: Accounting Manager
Location: Hybrid - Levittown, PA (3 days on-site)
Hourly Rate: $40.00 - $50.00/hour
Job Type: Contract (2-3 months)

They have a great track record, are very steady, and are part of a growing enterprise. The ideal candidate will have strong “full cycle” accounting experience, can and has managed 3 staff or more, loves to work with other teams and departments, and wants to be in a visible position.  

Position Overview
Seeking a pro-active accounting leader to join the accounting team.  The position is responsible for the monthly close process, balance sheet reconciliations, accounts payable, accounts receivable, general accounting and reporting functions, and actively managing and fulfilling cross functional team requests.  Will work closely with Senior Manager on policies, practices and reporting for the function.

Responsibilities Can Include:

•    Monthly local close process by to report to Corporate Accounting and FP&A.
•    Reconciliation of Intercompany Transactions and Balances
•    IFRS 9 Calculation.
•    Participation in annual budget process.
•    Ensuring compliance with company internal controls and policies.
•    Monthly operating variance analysis.
•    Fulfillment of external and internal financial audit and tax requests.
•    General Ledger account reconciliations, including maintaining oversight of bank accounts.
•    Customer and vendor rebate accruals and tracking.
•    Fixed Asset Maintenance.
•    Running Payroll for local entity.
•    Sales tax reporting to multiple jurisdictions. 
•    Federal and State filings and registrations including monitoring of Nexus.
•    Proactive facilitation of process improvements and problem solving.
•    Supervise, develop and provide feedback to direct reports.
•    Ad hoc reporting and analysis and other duties as assigned.
•    Manage and provide oversight to the AP/AR and billing Manager.
•    At times support multiple entities in region while leading a team of 3+.

The ideal candidate will have:

•    BS Degree in Accounting. CPA designation preferred but not required
•    5 – 8 years of experience in progressively advancing accounting roles.
•    Experience leading teams of 3+ people.
•    Experience in distribution environment preferred but not required.
•    Experience working for a public accounting firm a plus, (but not required) with corporate experience. Slight preference to audit or accounting advisory services.
•    Advanced Microsoft Excel Skills.
•    Strong interpersonal communication skills
•    Ability to multi-task with attention to detail.
•    Financial Statement preparation experience required.
•    Effective, efficient functioning in fast paced environment
•    Infor CSD ERP Experience a plus but not required.
•    Integration Experience a plus.
