Cordia Resources is seeking a Staff Accountant with QuickBooks experience, you will play a pivotal role in managing the financial operations of the company. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of accounting principles, exceptional attention to detail, and the ability to leverage QuickBooks to enhance efficiency and accuracy in financial reporting.
Responsibilities:
QuickBooks Management:
- Utilize QuickBooks to maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records.
- Ensure proper categorization and classification of transactions.
General Ledger Maintenance:
- Record and reconcile financial transactions in the general ledger.
- Prepare and review journal entries for accuracy and completeness.
Accounts Payable and Receivable:
- Process vendor invoices, ensuring accurate coding and timely payments.
- Manage customer invoicing and monitor accounts receivable aging.
Financial Reporting:
- Assist in the preparation of financial statements using QuickBooks data.
- Generate ad-hoc reports as needed for management analysis.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience as a Staff Accountant with a focus on QuickBooks.
- Proficient in QuickBooks software.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles.
- Detail-oriented with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
