They are expanding their operations with a new office located in Rockville, MD and are seeking a Tax Manager to lead their tax department.
Title: Tax Manager
Location: On-Site/Hybrid – Rockville, MD
Salary: $150,000 - $175,000 plus spot bonuses

Key Responsibilities:
- Preparation of federal income tax returns for individuals and estates (1040 & 1041).
- Preparation of state individual income tax returns in all 50 states.
- Tax research and planning.
- IRS and state advocacy.
- Team management and supervision.
- Conducting management level review of tax returns prepared by team members.
Requirements:
- Active CPA license.
- Experience with Lacerte software.
- Prior experience in overseeing/managing a team of CPAs.
- Expertise in 1040s and 1041s for middle-market clientele, including somewhat complex returns (rentals, K-1s, etc.).
- Ability to collaborate effectively with the ownership team.
- Strong communication and leadership skills.
