Cordia Resources is seeking an Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable Specialist for a leading company in the construction industry. Construction experience is a plus.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage and process all aspects of accounts payable, including verifying invoices, matching purchase orders, and ensuring timely payments.
Generate and distribute customer invoices accurately and promptly.
Post customer payments by recording cash, checks, and credit card transactions.
Perform regular reconciliations of bank accounts, vendor statements, and customer accounts to ensure accuracy.
Utilize knowledge of the construction industry to manage job costing, subcontractor payments, and lien releases.
Maintain positive relationships with vendors and customers, addressing any discrepancies or issues promptly and professionally.
Ensure all financial records are maintained accurately and in compliance with company policies and procedures.
Qualifications:
Minimum of 3 years of experience in accounts payable and receivable.
Experience in the construction industry is highly desirable.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and financial analysis.
Excellent organizational and time management skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
