Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable Specialist 16507850

Cordia Resources is seeking an Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable Specialist for a leading company in the construction industry.  Construction experience is a plus.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and process all aspects of accounts payable, including verifying invoices, matching purchase orders, and ensuring timely payments.
  • Generate and distribute customer invoices accurately and promptly.
  • Post customer payments by recording cash, checks, and credit card transactions.
  • Perform regular reconciliations of bank accounts, vendor statements, and customer accounts to ensure accuracy.
  • Utilize knowledge of the construction industry to manage job costing, subcontractor payments, and lien releases.
  • Maintain positive relationships with vendors and customers, addressing any discrepancies or issues promptly and professionally.
  • Ensure all financial records are maintained accurately and in compliance with company policies and procedures.
Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in accounts payable and receivable.
  • Experience in the construction industry is highly desirable.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and financial analysis.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
