Cordia Resources has partnered with a leading multi-million dollar organization in Alexandria, VA that is searching for an Insurance Claims Specialist on a temporary-to-permanent basis.

Candidate will be responsible for:

• Manage complex workers’ compensation claims to produce favorable outcomes through investigation and analysis
• Must have strong understanding of workers’ compensation laws, statues, and regulations
• Possess the ability to collaborate and built relationships with management, human resources, counsel, and third-party organizations to process claims.
• Build a support system through the claims handling process.

 
Candidate should have the following experience:
•             5+ years of experience workers’ compensation files.
•             Experience calculating indemnity payments on time
•             Handle multiple geographies and  how to apply the workers’ compensation laws.
•             Possess excellent verbal and communication skills interdepartmentally
•             Strong decision making and problem-solving skills
•             Ability to work independently and in team environment to meet deadlines.
•             Proficient in utilizing computer software and applications to track progress of each file.
