Cordia Resources is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Controller. The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in financial reporting, team management, and Deltek Vision software, with a proven track record in a professional services environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee the daily operations of the accounting department, managing a team of 5 staff members
Lead and manage the month-end close process and preparation of accurate and timely financial reports
Ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations
Analyze financial data and provide insights to support business decision-making
Collaborate with leadership to drive continuous improvement in financial processes and reporting
Maintain and enhance systems, including hands-on work in Deltek Vision
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA preferred)
Minimum of 5 years of experience in a controller or senior accounting role
Strong proficiency with Deltek Vision is required
Demonstrated experience in a professional services environment
Proven ability to lead and develop a finance team
Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills
