Cordia Resources by Cherry Bekaert is partnered with a dynamic engineering firm located in Louisville, KY who is seeking a skilled Accounting Manager/Controller to join their team on a contract basis. This is a hands-on role where you will work closely with the current CFO to manage the month-end close, record general journal entries, perform cash and balance sheet reconciliations, produce financial reports, and provide financial analysis. This role is ideal for someone who has previously been responsible for closing the books and is comfortable working independently.

Title: Interim Accounting Manager/Controller
Hourly Rate: $50.00 - $55.00/hour
Location: Hybrid - Louisville, KY

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and execute month-end close processes.
• Record general journal entries.
• Perform cash and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Produce comprehensive financial reports.
• Conduct financial analysis to support business decision-making.

Requirements:

• Experience with Deltek Vision software is highly preferred, but not required.
• Proven track record of successfully closing the books.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively with the CFO.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
