Interim Controller (Sage Intacct Implementation)
Washington, DCCordia’s non-profit client is seeking an experienced Interim Controller to lead their accounting operations during a critical systems transition. This role will play a key part in the conversion from Microsoft Dynamics Great Plains to Sage Intacct, ensuring a smooth implementation while maintaining oversight of core financial functions.

- Lead and support the Sage Intacct implementation, including data migration, system configuration, and process alignment.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external consultants to ensure successful system conversion.
- Oversee the accounting team and manage the monthly close process, including general ledger review, financial reporting, and compliance.
- Drive budgeting and forecasting activities, ensuring accuracy and alignment with organizational goals.
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and reporting capabilities.
- Sage Intacct implementation experience is required.
- Experience with Microsoft Dynamics Great Plains is a strong plus.
- Proven leadership in managing accounting teams and financial operations.
- Strong understanding of non-profit accounting principles and compliance requirements.
- Excellent communication and project management skills.
- CPA or equivalent certification.
- Experience working in a mission-driven or non-profit environment.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting.
