Cordia Resources’ government contracting client is seeking a detail-oriented Senior Accountant to support core financial operations, including general ledger reconciliation, financial statement preparation, and audit support. This role will also assist with revenue recognition and the preparation of incurred cost submissions, ensuring full compliance with FAR regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform general ledger reconciliations and prepare accurate financial statements.
Manage revenue recognition in accordance with applicable standards and contract terms.
Assist in the preparation of incurred cost submissions for government contracts.
Provide audit support, including documentation and response coordination.
Ensure compliance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) requirements.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve financial processes and reporting.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required.
FAR compliance experience is required.
Prior experience in the government contracting industry is required.
Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central is a plus.
