Position Overview:
The Senior Accountant will play a key role in executing the close process with precision and accuracy. This position oversees accounting, reconciliation, and reporting for fixed assets, commissions, lease accounting, and pre-paid expenses, ensuring timely and accurate financial operations across departments. Key Responsibilities:
Manage accounting for corporate fixed assets, leases, and sales commissions
Coordinate with various departments for timely and accurate expense accruals
Prepare monthly journal entries and account reconciliations
Support month-end and year-end closing processes
Ensure compliance with key SOX controls
Assist with external audits and special projects as needed
Qualifications:
Minimum of three years of accounting experience, ideally in public accounting
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required
CPA track or parts preferred
ERP financial system experience (NetSuite preferred)
Strong knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
Excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks
