Job Title: Salesforce Developer

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Salesforce Developer to join our team in Elk Grove Village, Illinois. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and deploying custom Salesforce solutions. This role requires a deep understanding of Salesforce technologies, including Apex, Visualforce, and Lightning Web Components, as well as experience with third-party integrations and automation tools.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, test, and deploy custom Salesforce solutions using Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Web Components, and other Salesforce technologies.
• Write clean, efficient, and well-documented Apex code; maintain automation (Flows, Process Builder) and triggers to automate business processes following Salesforce best practices.
• Manage, maintain, and enhance integrations with critical third-party applications, including Titan Forms, Sage Intacct, SharinPix, and Arcsite solutions.
• Build and maintain workflows, process builders, flows, validation rules, and custom objects.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements, translate them into technical specifications, and deliver solutions in a timely manner.
• Ensure data quality, system security, and compliance with Salesforce governance standards.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize existing Salesforce configurations and integrations, perform system maintenance, and provide ongoing technical support.
• Participate in code reviews, testing cycles, and deployment activities.
• Stay up to date with Salesforce releases, features, and best practices to ensure our platform remains modern and effective.
• Document existing Salesforce processes, builds, automations, triggers, and future enhancements.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or a related IT discipline; or equivalent experience.
• 5-7 years of Salesforce development experience.
• Proven proficiency in Apex code, creating triggers, classes and batch processes, SOQL, SOSL, Visualforce, and Lightning Web Components.
• Proven experience integrating Salesforce with external systems and APIs.
• Familiarity with Sage Intacct, SharinPix, and ArcSite integration or similar solutions is recommended but not required.
• Understanding of Salesforce platform, security and data models, governor limits, and performance optimization.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with an ability to translate business needs into technical solutions.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

Preferred Skills and Qualifications:

• Salesforce Platform Developer I or II certification, App Builder, or Administrator.
• Experience with web technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and jQuery.
• Ability to work with Salesforce Community Cloud or other collaboration tools.
• Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
