Job Summary

Cordia Resources by Cherry Bekaert is seeking a skilled Accounting Consultant with strong inventory experience to support one of our nonprofit clients during a period of operational transition. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in dynamic environments and enjoys building processes from the ground up.

The consultant will work closely with the Inventory Manager and leadership team to assess current inventory workflows, implement improved processes, and train internal staff for long-term success.

Key Responsibilities

• Partner closely with the Inventory Manager to assess current inventory systems and reporting structures.
• Support the transition to new warehousing and e-commerce platforms, including Shopify.
• Evaluate existing inventory and cost accounting workflows. Design and implement scalable processes and controls to improve accuracy, efficiency, and visibility across departments.
• Train internal staff on newly developed inventory and cost accounting procedures to ensure long-term sustainability and compliance.
• Leverage experience with Sage Intacct to support financial reporting and cost tracking. Ensure accurate data flow between inventory systems and accounting platforms.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in cost accounting, preferably with inventory-heavy organizations.
• Experience working with Sage Intacct.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with e-commerce platforms such as Shopify is a plus.
• Ability to work collaboratively and communicate effectively across teams.
