Cordia Resources is seeking a Staff Accountant with strong construction industry experience. The Staff Accountant will be responsible for managing accounts payable and subcontractor payments, supporting accurate month-end reconciliations, and assisting with audit preparation. This role offers the opportunity to work in a collaborative environment while gaining exposure to both day-to-day operations and broader accounting functions.
Responsibilities:
Process accounts payable transactions and ensure accuracy of vendor invoices
Manage subcontractor payments and compliance documentation
Perform month-end reconciliations and assist with journal entries
Support annual audits by preparing schedules and providing documentation
Maintain accuracy and integrity of financial records in accordance with company policies
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required
Construction industry accounting experience required
Strong understanding of accounts payable and reconciliation processes
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
