Senior Accountant – Billing & Revenue
Location: Tysons Corner, VA (Hybrid: 3–5 days/week onsite)
Type: Interim Consulting (3+ months, potential to extend or convert)

Overview:
We are seeking a Senior Accountant specializing in Billing & Revenue to join our team during a period of organizational change. This role is ideal for professionals who thrive in fast-paced environments and have a proven track record in contract billing, revenue recognition, and collections.

Key Responsibilities:

• Own billing and collections for designated contracts
• Manage contract setup, maintenance, and reconciliations in Microsoft Dynamics SL
• Generate and submit invoices and credit memos
• Oversee accounts receivable and revenue matters, including collections
• Track funding requirements and proactively work with contracts to secure funding
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure billing and revenue schedules align with customer requirements
• Adhere to SOX controls and GAAP compliance
• Participate in special projects and ad-hoc reporting

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
• 3+ years of accounting experience focused on billing, revenue recognition, and GAAP compliance
• Experience with government contracts and CLIN structures required
• Microsoft Dynamics SL experience strongly preferred
• Advanced Excel and MS Office skills
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks concurrently
• US Person status required (Citizen, Permanent Resident, or Protected Individual)
