Senior Accountant
Sterling, VAWe are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Accountant to join our finance team. This role plays a critical part in supporting the month-end close process, preparing financial statements, and reviewing accounts payable and receivable. The ideal candidate will bring strong analytical skills, a solid accounting foundation, and a collaborative mindset to help drive financial accuracy and operational efficiency.

- Lead and support the month-end close process
- Prepare and analyze financial statements
- Review and support accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR)
- Conduct variance analysis and provide insights to management
- Assist with audit preparation and support
- Ensure compliance with internal controls and accounting standards
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field (required)
- Public accounting experience is a plus
- Proficiency in QuickBooks is a plus
- CPA certification is a plus
- Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
