They are seeking an Interim Controller to support their team on a 2-3 month contract basis with the potential for contract-to-hire.

Title: Interim Controller
Location: Remote (Eastern or Central Time Zone preferred)
Hourly Rate: $75.00 – $85.00/hour
Job Type: Contract (2–3 months), Temp-to-Perm Potential


Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage day-to-day accounting operations: general ledger, monthly close, reconciliations, AP/AR oversight, and project cost tracking
  • Supervise a small, globally distributed accounting team (Philippines-based)
  • Collaborate with executive leadership on budgeting, cash flow, and financial performance reporting
  • Drive optimization of the NetSuite system
  • Develop and implement SOPs to support scalable financial operations
  • Act as liaison between executive leadership and accounting staff, providing mentorship and accountability

Qualifications:
  • CPA required
  • Strong hands-on accounting expertise
  • Proven experience leading accounting teams and improving processes
  • NetSuite proficiency is mandatory
  • Experience in ecommerce and project-based accounting (job costing)
  • Comfortable in fast-paced, growth-oriented environments
  • Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills
  • Ability to grow into a more responsible leadership role
