We are seeking a dedicated Senior Accountant.  The ideal candidate will have experience working with non-profit organizations, strong general ledger skills, and a focus on month-end close and reporting. Proficiency in Sage Intacct is a definite plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead the month-end close process, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting.
• Prepare and review journal entries, reconciliations, and financial statements.
• Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support budgeting and forecasting activities.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to junior accounting staff as needed.
• Maintain compliance with GAAP and other regulatory requirements for non-profit organizations.
• Utilize Sage Intacct software to streamline accounting processes and enhance reporting capabilities.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in accounting roles, with a focus on month-end close and reporting.
• Experience working with non-profit organizations is required.
• Strong general ledger skills and proficiency in financial analysis.
• Advanced knowledge of accounting software, particularly Sage Intacct.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to thrive in a dynamic and collaborative work environment.
