Title: Supply Chain Analyst
Location: Hybrid - Fairfax, VA
Hourly Rate: $35.00 - $45.00/hour
Job Type: Contract (6+ month)

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
  • Create procedures and policies to establish month reporting of KPIs to the company's leadership team.
  • Create full reports using various data visualization techniques on areas of vulnerability, inefficiency, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Lead significant initiatives targeting new procedures but not limited to: 
  • New manufacturers, logistics and transportation options, and procurement arrangements.
  • Collect data on inventory levels, production schedules, and demand forecasts to analyze supply chain operations.
  • Develop and maintain performance metrics to track the efficiency and effectiveness of the supply chain.
  • Identify and mitigate supply chain risks by monitoring supplier performance, identifying alternatives, and developing contingency plans.
  • Develop and implement strategies to reduce costs and improve operational efficiency across the supply chain.
  • Monitor compliance with regulatory requirements and ethical standards in supplier selection, contracting, and sourcing.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends and best practices, and continuously identify opportunities for improvement in supply chain processes.
  • Provide recommendations to senior management on supply chain optimization and strategy, based on data analysis and market insights.
  • Develop and execute projects to enhance supply chain operations.


QUALIFICATIONS
  • Education/Certification: BS in Business related field.
  • Years of Experience: Five years of experience, or equivalent experience in lieu of education.
  • A solid understanding of all steps from procurement to payment (requisition, approval, terms, purchase order, receipt, and billing); understand the sourcing related steps (requirements, analysis, strategy planning, vendor selection, execution, contract).
  • Ability to maintain the highest standards of ethical conduct and practices.
  • Organized, detail and customer-oriented, and dependable.
  • Effective analytical, oral, and written communication skills for internal customers/vendor relations and interfaces.
  • Experience with Microsoft Navision and Microsoft Office packages.
  • Ability to work in dynamic environment and multitask efficiently.
  • Experience working with all levels of internal and external customers.
