This strategic leadership role is ideal for a seasoned finance executive with deep experience in non-profit financial management. Reporting to the Deputy CFO, you will oversee the development of consolidated budgets, financial reporting, and board presentations, while providing guidance to a team of three. You’ll collaborate with business unit chiefs and staff to ensure alignment with organizational goals and policies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the preparation of consolidated operating and program budgets
• Present comprehensive financial statements and board reports
• Advise business units on strategic financial matters and budget development
• Conduct quarterly financial reviews and variance analysis
• Ensure compliance with APA policies and communication standards
• Mentor and guide a team of three finance professionals

Qualifications:

• 9+ years of progressive finance experience, with significant non-profit/association background
• BA in Accounting, Finance, Business Management, or related field
• Advanced proficiency in accounting and budgeting software (Microsoft Dynamics 365, BI360/Solver, Planful, etc.)
• Strong leadership, analytical, and communication skills
• Experience preparing financial analysis and board-level reporting

Salary: Around $150K (to be confirmed)
Location: Remote eligible (with some state restrictions)
