Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee general accounting and transactions processing team activities
- Provide team leadership
- Apply strong accounting knowledge to assist the team as needed
- Enhance staff understanding of the Costpoint system, and lead additional cleanup and optimization
- Review policies and procedures, preparing additional documentation as needed
- Manage contracts in fixed-price and cost-plus formats, with a firm understanding of indirect rates and cost pools in a multi-entity environment
Qualifications:
- Government Contracting experience is required
- Familiarity with Costpoint is essential
- Strong technical accounting expertise with experience in multi-entity environments
- Demonstrated experience in reviewing, documenting, and enhancing accounting policies and procedures
- Clear, effective communication with the ability to guide and coach team members
- Initial on-site trip to El Paso, TX followed by 1-2 additional visits over the contract term
