Our client, a growing, leading, and international GovCon firm, is seeking an experienced accounting professional to join their dynamic and fast-paced team. This individual will support the Director of FP&A by overseeing the accounting team. You will own the process of internal and external reporting, audit prep, month end close, general ledger reconciliations, balance sheet analysis, and supporting payroll as needed.

Our client, a growing, leading, and international GovCon firm, is seeking an experienced accounting professional to join their dynamic and fast-paced team. This individual will support the Director of FP&A by overseeing the accounting team. You will own the process of internal and external reporting, audit prep, month end close, general ledger reconciliations, balance sheet analysis, and supporting payroll as needed.
Responsibilities:
- Oversight of monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting processes including assistance with month-end close and other monthly operational duties.
- Support audits - annual external audit through external accounting firm, DCAA audit, and 401k audit.
- Maintenance of the annual revenue recognition memo.
- Assist with technical accounting areas such as intercompany transaction analysis.
- Advise the business interdepartmentally on accounting impacts of new projects/programs.
- Support the Monthly, Quarterly, and Yearly overview of 5 international entities.
- Ad-hoc projects requested by the CFO, Controller and/or department heads to support the business.
Required Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field required.
- 5+ yead of total experience with 3+ years of experience working in Government Contracting
- CPA Preferred
- Experience in public accounting firm preferred.
- Experience with Deltek Costpoint (version 7.2 or higher) required.
