Cordia Resources is seeking a Senior Project Manager on behalf of our client that is a not-for-profit healthcare organization located in Washington, DC. This is an immediate contract position with duration of approximately three months, with potential for extension.
Senior Project Manager Overview:
• Bachelor’s Degree with a minimum of five years of relevant work experience; Health Professional degree (i.e., RN, NP, PA) is highly desired, or
• Master's Degree in a related field (i.e. MPH, MSHA, MHA, MS) with a least three years of relevant work experience
• Guide and provide day-to-day oversight of aspects of research, environmental scans, measure reviews, and project deliverables.
• Supports business development efforts, takes on a more external role in project work, and formally mentor staff.
• Strong knowledge of the healthcare delivery system, public health, health IT or health policy, performance measurement and/or quality improvement
• Experience with meeting facilitation and working with/convening multistakeholder groups
• Experience working in a non-profit membership or consensus-based organization preferred
• Guide the day-to-day activities of projects and conduct and manage research projects relevant to health measures
• Execute tasks in accordance to company and regulatory guidelines, track and report project milestones, develop monthly status reports, and produce final reports
• Produce meeting materials, facilitate meetings, webinars, and conference calls
• Manage and monitor project budgets and databases; SharePoint skills are preferred
• Strong working knowledge of quality measurement and federal quality programs a plus
• Experience working in a non-profit membership or consensus-based organization preferred
• Demonstrated success in project management is a plus
