Administrative Assistant

Exciting opportunity to support a well-established and growing construction contracting organization!  This role will provide administrative support to the Contracts Manager during the company’s annual bid season. The experienced Administrative Assistant must possess strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills. 
  • Prepare documentation for bidding department
  • Review all bid specifications, download documents, and assemble packages
  • Prepare correspondence, assist with internal communication efforts, and handle any special projects
  • File and retrieve documents and reports both in hard and soft copy
  • Respond to meeting and information requests and prepare materials for meetings as required
  • Establish an excellent working relationship with contracting and leadership team in verbal, written, and electronic correspondence
  • 2+ years of construction or contracting administrative experience
  • Strong computer skills and proficiency in using Microsoft Office applications 
  • Excellent writing, research, and communication skills (interpersonal or presentation, or both)
  • Ability to stay organized, work independently, as well as follow directions, collaborate, coordinate, and prioritize multiple tasks, and meet deadlines consistently
  • Demonstrated ability to be highly flexible and provide exemplary customer service to internal and external contacts
  • Demonstrate proactive approaches to problem-solving and strong decision-making capabilities
