AWS Cloud Solution Architect

Our client is looking to hire a sharp, driven, and detail-oriented AWS Cloud Solution Architect for long term work with FEMA. In addition to the work with FEMA, the candidate will be involved with projects designing and defining business, organizational, and information technology (IT) architectures for integration across multiple domains, platforms, operating systems, and applications throughout the enterprise.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities 
  1. Perform data analysis -- re-imagine/re-architect secure and modernized FEMA Individual Assistance business domain data structures with consideration for FEMA-wide and external partners usage
  2. Describe possible data migration scenarios for legacy NEMIS-IA data from on premise to AWS Cloud locations (TDL, production) 
  3. Knowledge of AWS database options such as RDS, S3, data lakes
  4. Configure AWS infrastructure for modernized system/application custom development purposes (for example using microservices, managed containers)
  5. Configure a DevSecOps pipeline in zero-trust environment for frequent releases
  6. Configuration management version control for a modernized application environment
  7. Utilize modernized FEMA identity and credentials management (ICAM) for custom developed applications in AWS Cloud environment 
  8. Provide content for SELC documentation for Solution Analysis Review (SAR) and Project Planning Review (PPR) gates:
