Director of FP&A 

Following a significant recent acquisition in the US, this $200m global public client is seeking a Director/Head of Financial Planning & Analysis​, Americas to join their finance team.  This person will have the unique opportunity to help build out/enhance the FP&A function with the CFO.

This position will report directly to the Regional CFO, Americas.  The position will provide economic and financial planning at the service of the Group's current and potential initiatives. The role will therefore be involved, directly alongside the management of the company and in particular with the finance and management control functions, in the operations that affect the Group (Corporate finance team based in Italy - Milan). The role will also manage a team of 1-2 Financial Analysts.

Responsibilities
  • Oversees the annual budget and monthly forecast process for the legal entities in the Americas
  • Prepare the monthly and quarterly reporting of actual vs. budget/forecast with variance explanations
  • Deliver monthly management report to support the Sales, Sourcing and Global Technology Operations team to help guide the business decisions.
  • Assist business areas to manage KPIs (revenue, gross margin, adj EBITDA and capex)
  • Prepare ROI analysis, scenario and long-range planning, business case for adhoc projects, M&A and other initiatives to support the growth and business expansion in the Americas
  • Following policies, procedures and controls to facilitate timely, accurate and consistent reporting of financial results and ensure compliance with financial and legal reporting requirements with focus on Sarbanes-Oxley Act;
  • Lead the integration of acquisitions
Education:
  • BS in Finance, Accounting or similar
  • MBA is preferred but not required
  • CPA helpful but not required
Experience:
  • 10+ years of relevant FP&A experience
  • 5+ years of people management experience
  • Previous experience in public company is preferred
  • Global experience is required
  • Technology/Software experience is required
  • Previous experience with Oracle NetSuite (including ERP implementation) and/or planning tool
  • Proficiency with GAAP accounting, and understand the accounting operations such as Billing, CAPEX, OPEX
