What you’ll do: As our HR Coordinator, you are the go-to for all logistics and administrative tasks for the HR team. You serve as a trusted advisor to colleagues and more specifically hiring managers. To thrive, you must a strong attention to detail, enjoy supporting colleagues on your team, and have effective communication skills. Additional responsibilities include:
Recruitment: Partner with HRBP to screen resumes, conduct initial phone screens, schedule interviews, and administer pre-employment assessments. Participate in recruiting events.
Onboarding: Process all pre-employment paperwork, including background and reference checks. Communicate new hire information to internal stakeholders. Work with IT to have new hires setup correctly for first day of employment.
Benefit administration: Partner with HRBP to ensure all benefit billing is accurate and completed on time. Manage open enrollment process and answer employee questions related to benefits.
Reporting: Run and coordinate HR reporting initiatives such as our running people dashboard, employee engagement pulse surveys, exit interview data management, and ad hoc requests from stakeholders.
HR System Maintenance: Update and maintain internal databases (UKG, JazzHR, etc.)
Ask HR: Answer all incoming HR questions from employees related to HR issues.
Payroll: Assist payroll department by providing relevant employee information (promotions, bonuses, leaves of absence, etc.)
What you bring: You have at least 2 years of prior professional or internship experience within an HR function. You’ve earned a bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or a related field. You have experience in HR compliance issues and have worked hard to stay up to date on HR laws and regulations. You can demonstrate your ability to develop and manage interpersonal relationships at all levels. You view HR as a service function and thus have excellent customer service skills. You have the capacity to apply discretion and maintain a high-level of confidentiality when handling sensitive information. Finally, you have superior communication skills, both written and verbal.
