Recruiting Manager Northern Virginia based general contractor is seeking an experienced and passionate Recruiting Manager to lead our recruiting team and will be responsible for the recruiting strategy and execution for our nationwide hiring. This role requires strong business acumen with the ability to articulate best practices, data, and recommendations to senior business leaders within the organization. This individual will be responsible for the implementation of recruiting practices as well as conducting and overseeing full life cycle recruiting throughout the interview and selection process. Ensure recruitment methodologies and hiring practices are compliant with government regulations and organizational policies to ensure fair selection, assessment, and offer methods
Develop, monitor, and report on key recruiting metrics to ensure quality standards and strategic hiring goals are being met
Develop and implement strategies to identify, attract and hire highly qualified team members as well as build a strong ongoing talent pipeline
Act as a trusted advisor on talent acquisition topics such as market trends, compensation and equity, and federal/state employment law for senior leaders and hiring managers across the organization
Partner with hiring managers and business leaders to determine proactive and current staffing needs
Establish team performance goals and metrics to measure and manage progress as well as inform development opportunities for recruiters
Execute and lead full life cycle recruiting to include sourcing through offer stage with a high level of candidate engagement at every stage
Employ innovative recruiting campaigns to identify and attract quality candidates such as job boards, social and professional networking, industry partnerships, diversity recruiting tactics, etc.
Build and maintain reliable relationships with hiring managers and team members with top-tier communication skills and an unwavering sense of urgency
Promote and advertise company culture, brand, industry reputation, work types and market presence, benefits, and team member experience
Capture and manage all candidate activity in the Applicant Tracking System (ATS)
Own the company’s Affirmative Action Plan (AAP) and ensure EEO/OFCCP fair hiring practice compliance
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree preferred
6+ years of professional recruiting/talent acquisition experience
Architect, Engineer, or Contractor (A/E/C) experience a plus
Highly experienced with applicant tracking systems (ATS) and job boards
Extensive experience managing full life cycle recruiting
Proven success leading and developing a team of recruiters
Demonstrated experience developing and executing passive sourcing strategies
Experience in implementing and executing initiatives related to diversity and workforce inclusion
Experience in EEO, FLSA and OFCCP regulations
Excellent verbal, interpersonal and written communication skills
Ability to prioritize and manage competing demands while being adaptable and flexible
Proven success achieving goals both independently and collaboratively
