Executive Assistant to the CEO 15703595

DC based Association is seeing an Executive Assistant to the CEO.
The incumbent serves as the primary intermediary for staff, Leadership Team, Board of Directors, and other stakeholders on all matters pertaining to the CEO’s office. The Executive Assistant performs a broad range of activities including high-level executive support, liaison to government officials, project coordination, information flow, and more.
This is a hybrid role with 3-4 days a week in office in Washington, DC.

Primary Functions and Essential Responsibilities

  • Assists the CEO with daily administrative duties and completes a broad variety of tasks that include assisting with calendar maintenance; special projects, compiling documents, reports, agendas, and presentations; collecting and preparing information for meetings with staff, members, and other external entities; composing and preparing correspondence; maintaining contact lists and filing; completing and processing expense reports.
  • Track/monitor CEO and Leadership Team activities including meetings and agendas and projects, reports, and presentations for the purpose of increased collaboration and efficiency.
  • Serves as administrative liaison to the Board of Directors and assists with the coordination of in-person and virtual meetings, in collaboration with the Membership & Strategic Development team.
  • Support for other executive-level functions as needed.

Qualifications and Education Requirements

  • At least four years of experience providing administrative support for C-level executives
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent related experience in lieu of degree
  • Ability to communicate clearly, orally and in writing
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with a wide range of stakeholders
  • Ability to use discretion
  • Proficiency with MS Office products, Concur, and ADP
  • Ability to travel domestically occasionally
Ability to work non-traditional hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays
