Title: Senior Financial Analyst
Pay Rate: $50.00 - $70.00/hour
Position Location: Remote
Job Type: 3-4 month project

Prior experience within the Government Contracting industry is required!
In this role, you will primarily be responsible for executing financial and business activities to support the Division Finance Domestic Division: financial analysis, forecasting, budgeting, planning and proactively monitoring the financial health and performance of the division. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting process including financial analysis activities to be provided to the business
  • Prepare monthly reviews for management with emphasis on driver based, concise and insightful variance explanations, and financial analyses to drive business and profit growth
  • Ability to interpret financial data, identify trends and assist in formulating action plans to maximize the financial health of the Division
  • Ability to develop complex financial models to support ad-hoc financial analysis for decision making by the Division Leadership Team.
  • Support creative financial data reporting and analysis using data visualization tools
  • Perform financial analyses to interpret trends/risk requiring management attention
  • Participate in special projects, preparing financial data as necessary to help analyze the impacts
  • Ability to work well under pressure and handle multiple projects efficiently, stay organized, and effectively meet deadlines in a continually changing environment


  • Bachelor’s Degree + Twelve years of relevant experience, or Master’s Degree + Ten years of relevant experience, or PhD+ Eight years of relevant experience
  • Strong knowledge of financial analysis, including revenue/cost reporting, variance analysis, and financial forecasting
  • Firm grasp in accounting principles for creating forecasts and business models
  • Government contracting experience with a proficient understanding of CAS and FAR regulations, for-profit analytics, and revenue recognition for Gov Con services
  • Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills
  • Demonstrates exemplary work ethic, attention to detail, and high degree of accuracy
  • Must be a self-starter who works well independently and as part of a team
  • Strong oral and written communication skills with the ability to work across multiple layers of the company
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite of tools
  • Advanced knowledge of Government contract types (CPFF, CPLOE, T&M, FP and hybrids)
  • Knowledge of Oracle and Cognos TM1 desired
  • Knowledge of data visualization software and tools
