Our client, a Government Contracting - Public Relations and Communications Services, is seeking a Project Control Analyst to join their team. This can be a 100% remote role (East Coast candidates only) with compensation between $80k-$90k. Hands on role where candidate will wear multiple hats. Must be a jack of all trades and needs to be open to training.  

Title: Project Control Analyst
Software: NetSuite is a requirement
Remote position: Eastern Time Zone-based candidates
Location: Washington, DC (100% Remote)
Compensation: $80,000-$90,000
Interview Process: first round view interview, Skills Test, final interview with the management team
Report to: CFO

Main duties include:
  • Staffing cost type contracts
  • Assist with travel planning
  • Perform budget forecast
  • Contract financial reporting requirements
  • Answer any regulatory questions that come up
  • Accounting – Backoffice responsibilities
  • Work out internal controls
  • Expense reports and accounts payable processing

Ideal Candidate: Gov Con background. Experience with Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR), Cost Accounting Standards (CAS), Federal Travel Regulations (FTR), GSA Schedule Contracts, administration of Cost-Type contracts and indirect rate structures with the ability to juggle multiple client projects and deadlines simultaneously. Candidates should also have familiarity with reporting requirements on federal government contracts. 

  • 5 years of experience with a federal government contractor working in the areas of revenue recognition, project budgeting & forecasting and indirect rate management,
  • Working knowledge of FAR, CAS and Federal Travel Regulations (FTR)
  • Proficiency with Oracle NetSuite Accounting System required. 
  • Experience with Daston add-on to NetSuite for government contract compliance desired.
  • Proficiency in all Microsoft Office packages including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams and Outlook
  • Knowledge and experience with communications, advertising and media production operations is desirable, but not mandatory.
  • Strong attention to detail with ability to juggle multiple tasks
  • Ability to meet deadlines without sacrificing quality
  • Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced corporate deadline-driven environment
Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Accounting or Finance.
