Salesforce Lead Developer

Our client, a financial services firm, is seeking a proactive and professional individual to serve as a Senior Salesforce Developer. The Salesforce Developer is responsible for continually improving and enhancing our Salesforce platform, gathering requirements and feedback, and designing best practice solutions. This includes aligning the technology and business team’s strategies, systems analysis, requirements definition, systems integration, testing, and support of new and existing Salesforce capabilities in alignment with key business objectives.

As the Salesforce Lead Developer, your duties and responsibilities will include the following:

  • Lead in the development and ongoing maintenance of Salesforce and Force.com applications.
  • Maintain existing functionality by responding to issues, managing all changes/enhancements, documenting systems processes, and supporting & training users.
  • The Salesforce Developer will be hands-on and have demonstrated experience developing and managing Salesforce.com in a diverse working environment.
  • Guide solution requirements, technical design, integration architecture, and solution recommendations
  • Triage technical issues about code in the SFDC environment
  • Serve as point of contact for technology issue escalation and communication.
  • Management and logging of user feedback in ServiceNow, JIRA, Confluence, and other appropriate systems
  • To drive business success, you must be able to partner effectively with a wide range of teams, including business leaders, delivery teams, and external partners.
  • Provide thought leadership across business and technical project dimensions solving complex business requirements.
Desired Qualifications
  • 5+ years of Salesforce developer experience on the Force.com platform with expertise in Sales Cloud, Financial Services Cloud
  • Proficiency with Salesforce.com development, including Lighting development, Apex Classes, Triggers, Lightning Components, Visual Force pages, SOQL
  • Good understanding of data structures, data modeling, database schema, and interfaces required
  • Ability to communicate with customers and provide consultation on Salesforce solutions
  • Salesforce Administrator certification preferred. Multiple certifications are preferred.
  • Experience with Sales Cloud and Financial Service Cloud preferred.
  • Experience in middleware or iPaaS is very helpful.
  • Experience in the implementation, administration, maintenance, and enhancements of Salesforce.  
  • Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines and prioritize simultaneous requests
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Must be able to work independently, with minimal oversight.
  • Highly self-motivated and directed
  • Ability to visit office locations as needed
