Our client is a technology focused Nonprofit in Alexandria generating educational programs for HR employees. They are seeking an Accounts Receivable Specialist to support their Enterprise Commerce and Accounts Receivable function. This position will report directly to the Senior Manager, Commercial Finance Operations. They are moving to a hybrid in office, three days a week schedule. Salary will go up to $65k depending on experience. Responsibilities
Provide support with Enterprise customer registration and all related Enterprise customer inquiries including completing new customer registration forms
Process standard contracts
Serve as the liaison between the Enterprise Sales, Contracts, Education, and Finance teams with respect to Enterprise customer registration, internal communication of and adherence to contractual obligations, and billing
Process accounts receivable transactions including preparing invoices, retrieving customer payment data from bank account system, and reviewing and posting cash receipts
Research unapplied receipts on a timely basis
Assist with collection efforts and associated functions
Verify discrepancies and resolve client billing issues
Provide support for internal and external audits
Qualifications
Associates degree, or other demonstration of continuing education
2+ years of accounts receivable or account management experience
Ability to communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders
Proven ability to work both independently and collaboratively with different levels of employees
Being highly responsive in a fast-paced environment
Ability to meet constant stream of deadlines and prioritize work effectively
