Senior Accountant will exhibit a strong knowledge and understanding of generally accepted accounting principles and apply these principles.
Job Responsibilities:
- Cash and accrual accounting from data to financial statements
- Account Reconciliation including trial balance.
- Create and post journal entries.
- Assist with Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable
- Month-end and year end closing
- Generate financial reports
- Ad-hoc projects as assigned
Qualifications:
- BS Degree in Accounting or related field
- Minimum of 3-5 years of progressive financial experience, preferably including experience with a not-for-profit organization
- Must possess sharp analytical skills, effective communication skills including the ability to effectively present information
- Proficiency with Microsoft office: expert-level proficiency with excel
