This position will work a rotating hybrid schedule in Arlington, VA. WEEK 1 - 2 days onsite, 3 days remote WEEK 2 - 3 days onsite, 2 days remote. The Cloud Engineer will support the Cloud Development Services (CD) section within the CMO office located in Arlington, VA. Position Description:
Build, optimize and maintain conceptual and logical database models to support meta-data management, data catalog, data dictionary.
Interface with analysts gather requirements.
Build automated cloud data pipelines utilizing SecDevOps tooling and practices.
Designs and develops ETL processes/workflows and tools used within cloud.
Establish cloud infrastructure requirements utilizing SecDevOps tooling and practices.
Develop, deploy, and maintain cloud services and infrastructure as code.
Assists team in developing advanced cloud models and deployments.
Provide expertise in cloud automation, orchestration and integration; implements, optimizes and supports cloud infrastructure and elements of the SecDevOps toolchain.
Determine cloud infrastructure requirements, deploy and configure infrastructure and implement workloads and security utilizing SecDevOps tooling and practices.
Define and implement secure networking solutions between on-premises data centers and commercial clouds.
Develop and maintain software solutions/scripts to support automation of cloud configuration and administration.
Designs technical solutions and collaborates with development teams to convert customer requirements into technical code or system configuration.
Works with cross-functional resources to build solid solution designs that satisfy business objectives through continuous feedback.
Analyzes design and executes coding, programming, and integration activities required, based on general objectives and knowledge of overall architecture of product or solution.
Qualifications: Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree and a minimum of 9 years of experience required. An additional 4 years of experience may be substituted in lieu of degree.
Active Top Secret security clearance is required.
Must be able to work a hybrid schedule.
Possess CCNA, CySA+, CEH, CISSP, CASP+, Cloud+, CCNP, GICSP, GCIH, GCIA or similar certification.
Experience with design, deployment, and management of Cloud environments, including AWS or Azure.
Experience leading the migration, architecting, building, and deploying of systems and applications in Cloud platforms.
Experience with monitoring, maintenance, and security of critical infrastructure components.
Knowledge of networking, security groups and policy management for cloud resources across multiple operating systems, including Linux and Windows.
Experience with Agile methodologies and DevSecOps for designing, developing, and delivering using appropriate automation techniques or tools.
