This position will work a rotating hybrid schedule in Arlington, VA. WEEK 1 - 2 days onsite, 3 days remote WEEK 2 - 3 days onsite, 2 days remote. What you’ll do:
Build and maintain a program-level IMS which includes major milestones and deliverables
Coordinate and maintain an integrated project and activity schedule across all offices.
Develop the Work Breakdown Structure (WBS), Integrated Master Plan (IMP), and the Integrated Master Schedule (IMS)
Lead cross functional team members in the definition of project tasks, establish task durations, define relationships, impose constraints, collect weekly status
Propose processes that will aid Integrated Scheduling and understand the impacts of any changes to program delivery
Perform DCMA 14-point assessment, critical path analysis, and Monte Carlo schedule risk assessment
Design and implement WBS coding structures and IMP/ IMS coding structure
Define methodology and approach for implementing giver/receivers
Develop tier-one schedule (one pager), tier-two schedules, and master schedule from a single database using Microsoft Project
Develop process, procedures, and strategy for implementing scheduling best practices
Provide on-the-job training and mentorship to the program staff with regards to scheduling
Qualifications: Required qualifications:
Bachelor's degree and 5 years of experience. 4 additional years of experience can be substituted for degree requirement.
Active Top Secret clearance required or able to obtain interim TS prior to start.
Must be able to work a hybrid schedule.
Project Management Institute (PMI) Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
Expertise using Microsoft Project and add-on software such as OnePager Pro and audit software.
Ability to identify, track, and integrate risks into the IMS.
Ability to develop high level schedules and graphics utilizing MS Project to deliver to senior leaders and stakeholders.
Ability to facilitate client-facing meetings to review the IMS and discuss potential schedule slips and mitigation plans.
Experience tracking multiple high priority information technology projects.
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to clearly convey products, deliverables, analyses, and/or issues to groups outside of your team or those who are unfamiliar with the topic.
Possess an analytical mindset, with the ability to understand a situation or problem and think critically to make decisions and come up with out-of-the-box solutions.
Be proactive in providing feedback and be enthusiastic in sharing your knowledge with others.
Capable of prioritizing your own tasks and potentially the tasks of others while making sure deadlines are met.
Desired qualifications:
Experience with Information Technology and Cyber projects.
Experience with traditional waterfall and Agile project management methodologies.
