As an Accounts Payable Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely processing of vendor invoices, managing payment schedules, and maintaining strong relationships with vendors and internal stakeholders. Responsibilities:
- Process vendor invoices accurately and efficiently, ensuring proper coding, approvals, and adherence to company policies.
- Review and reconcile vendor statements, investigating and resolving any discrepancies.
- Manage payment schedules and ensure timely and accurate payments to vendors.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve any invoice or payment-related issues.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date accounts payable records and documentation.
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes as needed.
- Provide excellent customer service to vendors, responding to inquiries and resolving any payment-related concerns promptly.
- Stay updated on industry best practices and changes in accounts payable regulations.
- Proven experience as an Accounts Payable Specialist or in a similar role.
- Strong understanding of accounts payable processes and best practices.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
- Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Solid tenure and stable work history, demonstrating commitment and reliability.
