Job Responsibilities:
As a Senior Accounting Consultant, you will play a vital role in assisting our clients with their month-end close processes. Your key responsibilities will include:

• Leading and executing month-end close activities, including financial statement preparation, consolidation, and analysis.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze financial data, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
• Developing and maintaining financial reporting policies and procedures in accordance with SEC guidelines.
• Assisting clients in implementing and maintaining internal controls to ensure compliance and mitigate risks.
• Providing expert advice and guidance on technical accounting issues, such as revenue recognition, lease accounting, and stock-based compensation.
• Participating in the preparation of SEC filings, such as 10-Ks, 10-Qs, and 8-Ks, and coordinating with external auditors.
• Identifying process improvement opportunities and recommending solutions to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

To thrive in this role, you should possess the following qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA certification preferred).
• Minimum of 7 years of relevant experience in public accounting or a similar role, with a focus on month-end close and SEC reporting.
• Extensive knowledge of US GAAP and SEC regulations, including experience with ASC 606 and ASC 842.
• Proven track record of successfully managing month-end close processes for public companies.
• Strong understanding of internal controls and experience with SOX compliance.
• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex financial data and provide actionable insights.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with clients and internal stakeholders.
• Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems, such as SAP, Oracle, or NetSuite.
