An outsourced accounting practice is seeking a manager-level accounting systems professional with 6+ year of relevant experience and/or 5+ year of Sage Intacct implementation experience to join our Sage Intacct Not-for-Profit and Commercial Practice. As a Sage Intacct Consulting Manager, you will be involved in leading Sage Intacct system deployments, managing the project lifecycle, and guiding the strategic direction of the firm’s initiatives. Our client is a consulting and outsourced accounting firm in Vienna, VA, with an aggressive growth plan to expand its Sage Intacct technology practice in support of its clients’ digital transformation initiatives. This can be a 100% remote role with compensation within the range of $100,000 to $120,000 per year + quarterly bonus.

Responsibilities: Client Delivery
Leads Sage Intacct related projects such as: requirements gathering, future state solution design, implementations, post-production support escalations, health checks and gap analysis assessments, and enhancements.
Possesses and contributes knowledge of key accounting business processes (e.g., Procure-to-Pay, Order-to-Cash, Financial Close, etc.) and identifies and analyzes business problems within the office of the CFO, where analysis requires an in-depth evaluation of variable factors.
Lead projects across the project lifecycle from current state documentation, gap analysis, requirements gathering, future state design, and implementation across the organizational, process, technology, and data dimensions.
Identifies issues, risks, and project team conflicts and develops solutions for timely resolution.
Defines project strategy, goals, and deliverables that support client goals and project team.
Responsibilities: Practice Leadership
Serve as a key leader in our practice by supporting and enabling strategic firm and practice initiatives.
Develop new client relationships as well as expand at existing clients.
Participate in firm-wide committees and internal initiatives such as thought leadership, industry forums, recruiting, sales/business development, marketing, training, and organizational development
Manage teams by guiding performance against objectives, cultivating an atmosphere of trust and collaboration, modeling leadership behaviors, and encouraging continuous improvement/innovation.
Travel
Willingness to travel domestically up to 15%
Required Experience & Qualifications
6+ years of relevant experience in finance or accounting with experience in the functional and technical design of multiple modules (e.g., GL, AP, AR, Consolidations, etc.) within a Financial System solution (e.g., Sage Intacct, NetSuite, Microsoft Dynamics, etc.)
5+ years of Sage Intacct Implementation or Implementation Project Management Experience.
Experience developing and formatting data to meet the export/import requirements as defined by system rules.
Prior experience in professional services (public accounting or advisory firm) or management consulting firm.
Prior experience advising exempt and commercial entities preferred in one or more of the following areas: finance optimization, operations improvement, business process improvement, change management, program or project management.
Prior experience managing client and/or internal teams by guiding performance against objectives, creating an atmosphere of trust and collaboration, modeling leadership behaviors, and encouraging continuous improvement/innovation.
Excellent communication skills required – must develop, implement, and maintain sources of project information, communicating appropriate information to client as well other team members.
